The one hundred men The 2025 competition is ready to be an electrifying tournament, starting the fifth season on August 5 and culminating in the final at Lord’s on August 31. The eight teams based on the city again fight for glory in the format of 100 fast pace balls.
Equipment and structure
Eight teams take part in the 2025 tournament: Invincible ovalables, Birmingham Phoenix, South Brave, London Spirit, Wales, Original Manchester, Rockets Trent, and North Superchargers. The competition will include 32 league games, followed by a eliminator and the final. This structure guarantees a complete format, allowing each team a wide opportunity to move forward to the eliminated stages.
Format and innovations
The one hundred, introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) In 2021, it has a distinguishing format where each team plays in the entrances of 100 balls instead of the traditional ones. This competition incorporates various innovations, including a power period of 25 balls, during which only two campers outside the circle of 30 gardens and a strategic waiting time of 90 seconds for tactical debates are allowed. These changes are designed to offer a faster and more family version of the game, with the aim of attracting new audiences. The tournament format and the high -profile international stars have contributed to their important vision and the commitment of the fans.
