We trust that the forensic process will be objective, clear, and explain the true causes of this unfortunate event. For the time, the investigation will continue by the varied award.”
The hotel concluded: “Out of respect for the ongoing judicial process and family privacy, we will refrain from commenting on potential theories or unconfirmed cases.

Earlier on Monday, Costa Rica authorities confirmed “High levels of carbon monoxide contaminationFound in the Miller Room as part of tests conducted by a “dangerous specialist atmosphere team” from the Fire and Forensic Engineering Department performed by Judicial Investigating Agency Costa Rica (OIJ).

Zúñiga said the OIJ had informed the local fire department and the Ministry of Health to “take appropriate action on this confirmed contamination in the room.” He repeated that OIJ was working alongside the FBI in the US as they “awaited the final results of forensic toensor.”
“Nevertheless, the initial investigation findings show that the incident is the result of this contamination, with levels as high as 600 parts per million detected – when the appropriate level in this case should be zero,” said Zúñiga.
Brett and his wife, Jessica Gardnerconfirmed earlier this month that they had lost their teenage son.
“With heavy hearts, we are sad to announce the passing of our youngest son, Miller. He was 14 and has left us far too soon after becoming ill along with several other family members while on holiday,” said a couple in a joint statement. “We have so many questions and so many answers at this point, but we know he died peacefully in his sleep on Friday morning, March 21st.”
They continued: “Miller was a dear son and brother and we could not yet understand our life without his infectious smile. He loved football, baseball, golf, hunting, fishing, his family and friends. He lived life to the full every day.”
