The Hiderabad Cricket Association occurred by the corruption scandal; CID stops maximum officials

Corruption complaints within the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) date back to 2011, when several club officials were concerned about financial irregularities.

One of the complaints was presented to the court of the Anti -Corruption Office (ACB) by C. Babu Rao Sagar of the Sagar Cricket Club, D. Manikyam de Roshan now Recreation Club and Aijaj Ali Qreishi of Shalimar Cricket Onze Club.

These complaints accused HCA members of misuse and participating in questionable financial treatment. In response, the court sent requests to the ACB, which he asked the Central Research Unit (CiU) to present two FIR this year.

Cricket Hyderabad Association under fire for financial irregularities in Uppal Stadium projects

The Cricket Hyderabad Association is linked to three major corruption cases between 2011 and 2014, all linked to alleged misconduct during the development of the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium (RGI) in Uppal.

The first FIR, presented in 2011, accused former officials, including Shivlal Yadav, Arshad Ayub and others, inflating construction costs of € 30.26 to $ 108. The complaint stated that the cubes chairs were bought at € 910 each, almost double the market price, with a loss of more than 2 ₹ crore.

The second FIR, also since 2011, was based on a complaint by Manikyam and named the same group along with K John Manoj and G Vinod. The misuse of the stage infrastructure, including refrigerators, refrigerators, generators and bowling machines, was alleged.

Azharuddin, others called in a complaint of evil $ 3.85 crores

The third FIR was presented in 2014 by Aijaj Ali Qreishi. Arshad Ayub, R Devraj and others were accused of conspirating to fraudulently award contracts for the canopies of the stadium, which resulted in a loss of more than $ 3.

The loading sheets were presented between 2016 and 2020 in a Special ACB court in Nampally, but the judgments have not yet begun due to a stay order issued by the High Court.

In October 2023, CEO Suneel Kante presented four new criminal complaints. These cases accused the old HCA officers, including Azharuddin, the former Secretary R Vijay Anand, and the former -Surrender Agarwal resort, to divert $ 3.85 of Crore who were used to buy equipment for the stadium.
