Hannah Brown opened for the ongoing health struggles that fans did not know about as she seized the top prize on them Special forces.
“I’ll say that experience is huge for me, because behind the scenes, I’ve really been struggling with many health issues before that it almost made me not want to go on (Special forces), ”Said Brown, 30, on Tuesday’s episode, May 6, of the “Healing squad” podcast. “I just felt very bad in every sense of the word and I really questioned my strength, as strongly how strong I could be physically and mentally, and questioned my value and if I was enough.”
With every day Brown stayed on Special forces, It was reminded of her strength – and her value. “Definitely he helped me take another big step forward in my healing trip,” he said.
Brown noted that everything she had made was “caught up” with her after the pandemic Covid-19, explaining that the shows she was cast on were “emotionally taxing”-and it felt like “everything was just beginning to expose physically.”

Brown explained that her body was “so irritating,” and walking became a battle.
“I had this same moment where I couldn’t even pick up my legs to walk upstairs to my flat, and I had to call my – well, my neighbor opened her door – and I was like, ‘I can’t pick up the stairs.’ I’m young, I can body and like, something just started moving, ”explains Brown, noting that she went to the emergency room. “And they were like, this is like, ‘You’re right. This is just a concern.’ I’m like, ‘Well, I have no color in my legs.
After going to the doctor and getting “tested for everything,” Brown focused on her mental health and was diagnosed with mast cell activation syndrome.
“I have very high histamine levels,” he explained. “So I think people can get on that full, and I haven’t been as extreme as changing everything, but just knowing that there are some foods that are going to trigger me that have higher histamine levels, and I ate them every day.”
Brown was diagnosed with Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) And he was told that there was no “big deal” and was advised to take a metformin, which is used to treat high blood sugar levels.
“Because PCOS is a lot of insulin resistance, you can treat it the same way as you would you would diabetic,” said Brown. “And so I did that, but I didn’t get much support on it, and I like, ‘Okay, this is probably not a big deal, because it didn’t act like it was a big deal really.’ And my symptoms worsened and worse.
Brown explained that she had “very irregular periods” and struggled with “acne and weight gain.” When she had an ultrasound, Brown told her to suffer from “serious” PCOS.
Brown explained that her body was “hurt so bad” that she chose not to exercise for a year, when going to physical therapy several times a week. While on his “rebuilding journey,” Brown received a call from Special forces.
“I went back into the gym, as maybe a month or two, working with a strength coaching trainer, and I was still trying to build my confidence, ‘Okay, I can do things and not hurt.’ Because I’m just hurt all the time when you’re so irritating, that it’s very difficult, ”he said. “I can remember having (the call) and feeling like, ‘Oh no, like, I’m not going to be able to do this.’ Like, physically, I just reach the point that, as you know, I can make pressure feel comfortable, somewhat comfortable in the gym, and I still take a faith leap, and it pushed me. ”
Brown noted that she started feeling “really weak,” but Special forces Had made her feel surprised by “how strong” she is. “It was really powerful, but it was a strange timing of it all, but very necessary. And so I’m so grateful that it was pushed me in a way that was like I was afraid to push myself,” he said.
After the experience, Brown shared that she had a “hard time” coming back from the show.
“Like, why did that feel more comfortable than my life?” he said. “That’s when I started getting a little freakout, like, ‘Oh we have some work to do here.’ … A lot of people, I feel like, like, ‘It was great, but it was traumatic.’ I didn’t feel it.
Brown noted that she was “so proud” to go on the show because she helped her “come over” to feel “helpless” and think her body is not “working,” adding, “she pulled through me when I needed it.”
Brown revealed that she was diagnosed with a double womb, yet to have a “exploratory surgery” to find out more.
“There is some risk in whatever might be there when I’m ready for children. It looks like they are attached in some way, it’s exactly, like, almost a split,” said Brown. “She will have to find out, ‘Is one bigger than the other? Can he, like, catch a baby? Which one is better?’ It’s a whole thing.
Her doctor was told that Brown started getting things “designed out,” including the release of her eggs, by the age of 30.
“I’m like, okay, I’m getting married this year. I’ll get right on that after, ‘” he said, referring to his upcoming nuptials with Adam Woolard. “Can definitely complicate things because can the womb size can catch a baby? Is one better than the other? But cases of people have a double womb and get babies and be perfectly fine.
