The footage shows survivors being dragged away from the tail of the crashed Azerbaijan Airlines plane.
On Wednesday, a flight from Baku to Grozny in the Russian republic of Chechnya was diverted across the Caspian Sea and crashed near the city of Aktau in western Kazakhstan.
Some aviation experts suggested that it was shot down by Russian air defense systems. Russia says it will wait for the results of the investigation before commenting.
Twenty-nine of the 67 people on board survived. National mourning for the dead was announced in Azerbaijan on Thursday.
