Avesh Khan receives a BCCI authorization to reinstate LSG

According to a report from Espncricinfo, Avesh Khan has received authorization from the BCCI medical team to join the Super Giants in Lucknow. He had been treating the right knee discomfort. The report added that Avesh suffered his final fitness test Monday before receiving approval to return to action.

“Espncricinfo has learned that Avesh, who had dealt with a problem in the right knee, obtained the departure of the BCCI medical staff this week and will soon join the LSG workforce,” the report read.

“It is understood that he was experiencing discomfort in his right knee, which was related to his workload during the domestic season. It is understood that he went through one of his last fitness tests on Monday,” the report added.

Avesh Khan’s comeback date for LSG still does not have to decide

The report added that Avah Khan’s return date to Super Giants template is not confirmed. However, it is expected to be available for his next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 27. LSG, which lost its seasonal workshop in Delhi Capitals, has been struggling with injuries to the main mushrooms of India.

Mayank Yadav, who was already recovering from a lumbar stress injury, had recently suffered a feet injury. Akash Deep continues to regain his physical fitness after a back injury suffered during the Australian tests series. Mohsin Khan has been ruled out of the IPL 2025 due to an ACL tear, with Shardul Thakur who replaced him in the squad.

Avesh Khan was bought by LuckNow Super Giants for $ 9.75 at the mega auction. Madhya Pradesh’s fast bowler played LSG in the 2022 and 2023 seasons before being marketed in Rajasthan Royals for the IPL 2024 season. However, LSG decided to return it to its workforce ahead of the IPL 2025.
