Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta says that Max Dowman, 15, “deserves to have possibilities” after the attacking midfielder pressed his claims to play the Premier League with an impressive Cameo against Villarreal.
Dowman, an international minor from 17 years old from England, had a quick impact as a replacement during the preseason, moving on several occasions and won a second penalty in three games after replacing Bukayo Saka in the 63rd minute 3-2 defeat at home to the Spanish side.
“It is still impressive, no doubt,” said Arteta. “The impact he had on the game again, the efficiency he shows on all attacks and actions, is incredible.
“It deserves to have possibilities and if it continues like this, let’s see what happens.”

Dowman, who is already retaining the oldest player 2 player’s player and the UEFA Youth League scorer, will be the second young man in Arsenal who never made his debut behind Nwaneri if he has the first team before mid -March.

Viktor Gyokeres: Arsenal building fitness
Arteta made a first start in Viktor Gyokeres, which Arsenal Hope will respond to his need for a prolific striker after having joined the sport in July by a quota that could increase to £ 64 million.

Clarke said he “felt a little” for Gyokeras due to the family problems of Arsenal with the creation of possibilities.
“He worked hard and pressed strongly, but he did not get the kind of service we need,” Clarke said. “There was a time when (Gabriel) Martinelli needed to play it, but he waited too long.
“These connections will improve. It was a beautiful sliding pass from Merino and (Gyokeras) hit it from the angle with greatly.
