Murphy, 64, broke the news during a reunion with Dreamgirls costume Jennifer Hudson On Thursday, May 29, the episode of his Talk Show, Jennifer Hudson’s show.
The Beverly Hills Cop Star revealed that Eric, 35, and Jasmin, 29, tied the knot about “two weeks ago” at a close church ceremony, avoiding a prestigious marriage.
“Everyone was making the big wedding plans and then they decided they wanted to do something quiet with just both of them,” said the actor, joking that Lawrence, 60, didn’t have to pay for a “big wedding.” (Lawrence before joke that Murphy expects him to walk the bill for the ceremony.)
