As Briggs’ Post explained, “silverance” was burned back to focus on “Hellboy 3” itself. He then pushed another in 2015 when “Hellboy 3” looked unlikely to happen. After that, Briggs re -operated the field to exclude Hellboy itself and re -spit as “Silverance: From the BPRD files”

The film would feature Abe settling into a new BPRD headquarters in the Colorado Mountains, where the center moved in their derived “BPRD” comic. Hellboy and His love love Liz Sherman (Selma Blair) He left the center at the end of “The Golden Army,” so it would be easy enough to excuse their absence. Abe, who still feels psychic contact with the late Nuala, would investigate her and her brother’s history. In doing so, by Briggs, ABE would have revealed the following stories:
“We would have seen Nuada’s connection with a competitive fairy court seeking control of the kingdom of fairy (and Nuala’s hand in marriage), and the machiners of the machinations that cause expulsion of Prince Nuada. its first centuries, including the centuries being defeated (including the centuries (including the centuries, including the first centuries in its wink spheres of a company of soldiers); and Nuada in Nazi Germany in World War II in the engineering of an agreement to keep various supernatural entities unharmed.

According to Briggs, Jones would have played not only Abe, but also a death angel of “Hellboy II,” “Prince Nuada strikes a deal with.” Rookie BPRD agent John Myers (Rupert Evans) of “Hellboy” would also have returned. The highlight would have somehow included the Gauntlet that Grigori Rasputin (Karl Roden) used to summon Hellboy himself to Earth Way back in 1944.
“If he had been successful, he would have been the first in a series of ‘From the Files of the BPRD’ projects,” explained Briggs. Of course, the film did not even make it an opportunity to become a success or failure.
According to Briggs, Universal was happy with the new “Silverance” pitch, but Mike Richardson (Founder of Dark Horse Comics) asked the studio “put a pin in it” because the “Hellboy” movie restart was already in the works.
Nuada and Nuala are original creations of Del Toro films, with no basis in the “Hellboy” comics of Mignola and Co. (Probably Nuada’s closest counterparts Koshchei the death. Which, as Briggs noted, was a big problem, as the film all related to two of those original characters.

Briggs suggested doing a different “BPRD” project centralized around a comic villain the black flameBut that didn’t go out either. The last Briggs heard about “silverance” from Universal in 2016, when he still appeared to be interested. The announcement of Neil Marshall’s “Hellboy” for Briggs to announce to “Silverance” caused “now officially dead.”
