The last week of the NFL preseason is already in the books, which means that the next game of the National Football League we see will be the workshop of the regular season on September 4 between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys. From disappointing performances to amazing quarterback games, we go to the list of the most attractive headlines that came from the last week of preseason action.
The Cleveland Browns set the Rookie Shedeur Sanders quarterback to fail and did not give him the opportunity to show that he belongs to the league in his preseason against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. Coaches and Browns office made several questionable options in Sanders’ last preseason game.
First, Cleveland asked Shedeur Sanders to make a chicken chicken salad with an impromptu offensive line devoid of NFL talent. This showed that the fact that The Browns cut or gave up four of the five offensive liners blocking him During the third and fourth quarter of the game on Saturday. Although some of the sacks were Sanders, they were guilty, there was no chance of finding success with the boys that Cleveland stood in front of him.
The Browns also had the opportunity to see Sanders responds to the pressure after lowering the ball again with two points with 2:03 on the left. So what did they do? Sanders dragged Snoop Huntley, who was released a day later! Instead of seeing his rookie quarterback during a two-minute drill, they gave the ball a player who did not intend to stay on his list, a questionable decision to say the least.
This type of players’ mismanagement has been expected from the Cleveland Browns office. But this is a completely new thing from Kevin Stefanski, a twice award winner of the NFL coach. Not surprisingly, the Browns have completely smoked the preseason of Shedeur Sanders.
Tyson Bagent’s backup quarterback, which signed an extension of two -year contract last week, launched three quarter -quarter touch passes to complete the 17 -point chicago comeback against Kansas City’s heads. Bagent was incredibly efficient in the game, completing 20 of 28 passes by 212 yards and three TDs, including the winner of the game.
The heads got a 17-3 to the second quarter score before the quarterback Patrick Mahomes was replaced by the backup Gardner Minshew. The Bears Quarterback and the old number 1 of the General Caleb Williams selection were able to orchestrate a 78 -gardens unit to reduce KC leadership at ten points at halftime.
Leaving the break, the Bears struggled to put points on the board despite collecting 44 yards on the first journey of the third quarter. In addition, Kansas City scored another touch to extend his advantage to 27-10.
Despite being downloaded by 17 points on the road against the champions of the AFC, Tyson Bagent and the offense of the bears did not fall. Chicago mounted two rich touch and got the ball on the line of six Kansas City gardens with the opportunity to win the game. Fortunately for the city of Windy, Bagent responded to the call throwing a six -gardens with only three seconds left in the game, giving the Baars their third victory in the preseason.
There were a few quarterbacks that could make the most of the play time this weekend. Although they are not tent boys in the first round of the NFL project, Max Brosmer, Riley Leonard and Graham Mertz had great outings during the last week of the preseason.
We will start with Rookie Free Agent, Max Brosmer, who showed the Vikings of Minnesota that it could be a reliable backup or a third cord. Ex-dynesota Golden Gopher, 24, completed 15 of 23 passes by 161 yards and a touchdown. The Vikings were clearly impressed with their performance because they launched the Quarterback Brett Rypien and traded another QB, Sam Howell, in Philadelphia Eagles. In all likelihood, Brosmer will make the list of 53 minnesota men.
Graham Mertz de Houston Texans was also incredibly efficient. The selection of the sixth round could have won a place in the list of 53 men after completing 14 of 16 passes by 145 yards, a touchdown and another 20 meters on the ground.
Finally, there was Riley Leonard, who completed 15 of 20 passes as the head of Indianapolis Colts for 189 passing gardens and a touchdown. With Daniel Jones as a headline and Anthony Richardson came out as the team’s second rope quarterback, there is a good chance that Riley Leonard will open the season on the list of 53 Indy men as a QB3.
After a disappointing departure against Denver Broncos, where none of the three quarterbacks of the Saints launched a touch, New Orleans, Kellen Moore, said that he has a “challenging” decision to make for the coming days on who will be QB1 to a large extent.
“I know I have to make a decision and it is difficult because these guys have put everything in this,” Said during a press conference after the party. “They have been very, very close. We love this room. We want this room to be together and we know that good things will happen to all these boys as the trip continues.”
Moore added that the team will decide on the initial quarterback “at some point” this week.
