The first week of the 2025 NFL preseason is officially found in books, and there is a lot of things to talk about after the first 16 games of the league. From impressive debuts to the news of devastating injuries, and everything that is in the middle, we are on the list of the most interesting stories to leave the week from the NFL preseason.
In three quarters of the game, Rookie Quarterback and the selection of the fifth round, Shedeur Sanders, seemed to belong to the NFL, completing 14 of 23 passes by 138 yards and two touchdowns. He also addressed the other 19 meters on the ground.
After two points and a turnover of Downs, Sanders put on the board connecting with a wide receiver Kaden Davis on three defenders by a touch of touch of seven gardens. Two units later, Sanders found Davis again in the back of the final area for a 12 -gardens TD.
“Enchanted with Shedeur, satisfied with the offense” Said Browns’ main coach Kevin Stefanski after the game. “Again, it is not perfect, we can work much. But I thought that the boys did a very nice work with Shedeur and operating, the boys play plays, so again, a ton to teach.”
Indianapolis Colts are already treating an injury to their former general selection and quarterback, Anthony Richardson. In the second unit of the party, Richardson was very successful of a unlocked defender and was forced to leave the contest due to an injury. It was later revealed that he suffered a dislocated pink during success, ending his day before.
“Was strange” Richardson told Espn. “He struck me, then I was trying to secure -me I had the ball and only looked down. I saw my finger in a different direction. I’m like,” Maybe I’m stepping on. “And I looked at it again.
The good news for the fans of Colts is that Richardson returned to practice two days after the injury was suffered. He was able to resume the activities of the team organized normally.
There was a good quarterback play between the Bengals of Cincinnati and the Philadelphia Eagles. In just two series as a starter, Joe Burrow spent nine through ten passing with 123 yards and two touchdowns, including a 36 gardens TD in the spacious receiver Ja’marr Chase.
However, he was the head of Eagles, Tanner McKee, who really illuminated the score. The old selection of the sixth round completed 20 of its 25 passage attempts for 252 yards and two passing touchdowns, as well as a one -garden touchdown.
“He felt good. I felt like we were moving the ball, which is always fun.” McKEE said after victory. “Obviously we will see the movie, you never know until you see the movie. You never know until you see the movie and you like,” Oh Crap, I missed this, “or anything.
Although, certainlyOhio’s old state, Buckeye, was electric in his first NFL game. He achieved the opening shot of 100 meters in the final zone in his first touch of the NFL to put the patts ahead by 7-0 after only 12 seconds of play.
Although he would not find the final area again, Henderson still managed to precipitate for 18 meters while taking three passes for another 12 meters, to bring his total scrimmage for the game to 130 yards with only five touches (26 meters per touch).
“Being on the NFL, being a young boy, selection of second round drafts, is a lot of pressure and sometimes it is difficult with all this pressure there, but the biggest is that I try to keep my eyes on the Lord,” Henderson told journalists after 48-18 victory. “I know, no matter what happens, I can go out here and give it all that I have, and if I have a good practice, bad practice, good game, bad game, I know that God loves me and is always here with me. And therefore, this only motivates me to follow every day. I have my ups and downs too. Some practices are good, some practices are bad, but I just try to learn and improve.”
The New York Giants were able to overcome the Buffalo Bills 34-25 thanks to the consistent play of Russell Wilson and Rookie Jaxson Dart. Although he did not mark a touchdown, Wilson completed six of his seven opening attempts for 28 yards, which made the giants close enough to score a field goal.
After this first unit, Russell Wilson was replaced by Jaxson Dart, who collected 19 meters in his first possession. In the next giants series, Dart launched a 28 -gardens pass to the broad receiver Lil’jordan Humphrey for his afternoon touch. Dart finished 12 by 19 passing with 154 yards and a touchdown.
“It’s about what he thought he would do,” said main coach Brian Daboll. “Efficient, effective, aggressive, confident in the pocket.”
It was an ugly loss for titans. However, the Global Selection number 1 of the NFL project of 2025 and the Tennessee quarterback, Cam Ward, seemed very promising, as he directed the Titans in a goal unit, although he only played two possessions.
In his first series, Ward lost his first two attempts in passing, which resulted in a three and out. In the next Tennessee unit, Ward played much better, completing five of six passes by 67 yards, which caused a Touchdown of a garden from Tony Pollard.
“Cam played well in the two series he obtained. A kind of first half, with only three possessions. He had one of three and drove and drove and a touch of touch. I thought he had a good appearance, he began to feel a little comfortable, begging that he went in again, but that was not in the cards tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight said titular coach Brian Callahan after the game. “I thought it did good things and it was encouraging.”
He was only encouraged to show that he has what he needs to lead this team, and Justin Fields passed this test with flying colors. He completed three of four passes by 42 yards and also headed to the final zone for a touch of 13 gardens in which he would end up being a defeat of the Green Bay Packers, as the jets prevailed 30-10.
“There were a couple of shooting plays we called, and he did a very good job just taking what he gave his defense,” said Aaron Glenn, New York’s lead coach. “We love where he is right now. Does he have a way to follow? Absolutely, he does. He will continue to work? Absolutely, he will do it because he is who he is. But we know exactly where he is, we know exactly where we are going and we will continue to work our ass until we arrive.”
The saints played the three quarterbacks, which are currently betting on the initial work of New Orleans. Jake Haener was bewildering, completing only five of the eight passes while launching an interception.
Spencer Rattler stood out in the game, however. Not only was the initial quarterback in the first unit of the team, but also completed seven of 11 passes by 53 yards while collecting 22 meters on the ground. Unfortunately for him, he took three sacks.
Finally, there was Tyler Shough, which was connected to the second round, which was connected to 16 of its 22 passes by 165 yards and a final touch. However, he launched an interception that was returned by a final touch and was also sacked twice.
“I think for all three there will be some good moments, there will be some moments that we want to return. said titular coach Kellen Moore after loss. “Tyler played a little more between the second and third quarter. A great two-minute car before half. He did some really good things there. He felt under control if he managed the situations really, really well. He threw a choice, you responded. Obviously, no one wants to launch an interception. The way he answered was really good for him to return and handle from his emotional hand.”
I don’t think those who attended the Steelers-Jaguars game knew they would see a moment of kick of all time. PLACKICKER CAM Little reached a 70 -gardens field goal to end the first half, making a previous 66 -meter record established by Justin Tucker in 2021.
There was only one problem: the kick was done during the preseason, which means that it will not officially enter the NFL record books, so the 66 Jouber Tucker gardens are still the current Kickers’ point of reference. The sad part is that if it had been a 71 garden, I would have done little. So powerful was his kick.
“He wanted it, so we gave him” Jaguars’ lead coach Liam Coen, said at halftime. “It was very nice to CAM, you wish one went to the record books.”
Perhaps, if you are little luck, you will try to try a 67 -garden field goal during the regular season, which would lower the current record. Although nothing will never be compared with that 70 gardens bomb that did little on August 9, 2025, which is not officially the most successful field goal in the NFL history.
