York doesn’t offer a ton of options, but you can still get great internet service in the area. The best internet service provider in York is Xfinity, offers the best availability, lowest starting prices and fastest speeds. Plans start at $35 a month for 300 Mbps and go up to $75 for speeds of 1200 Mbps. It is the only wired provider (cable or fiber) in the city, and although the prices increase significantly after one to three years, it is still the best bet for fast and reliable internet in York.

It doesn’t end there: We go to the FCC website to check our data and make sure we consider every ISP that provides service in an area. Once we have this information located, we ask three main questions:

The answer to these questions is often layered and complex, but the providers who are closest to “yes” on all three are the ones we recommend.
