As the countdown begins for the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final In Lord’s from June 11, Australian captain PAT Cummins He acknowledged that the fresh dynamics joined the Grand Bets Contest South -Africa emerging as an opponent on his side.

We simply do not see them in the test cricket, but it is pleasant and different from an Australian final” Said cummins.
The Lord’s test will be another opportunity for Cummins to expand his dominion as captain at ICC events. Under his leadership, Australia won the WTC 2023 title and the World Cup of Hate 2023, triumphant over India on both occasions.

Reflecting on the presence of South -Africa in the next final, Cummins expressed his surprise and respect. Although the proteas have not played a large number of testing matches in recent cycles, their ability to stay competitive and reach a major final did not go unnoticed. Cummins emphasized that, despite its relative scarcity in the longest, south -Africa format, it continues to act with an impressive bowling unit, which is often the angular stone of success in the test cricket.

“You can just overcome anyone who comes. Our route to the final was quite hard, but I do not blame south -Africa for a different route. His bowls have always been highlighted and now it is no different. Kesharaj is a really solid spinner and they always have a lot of fast bowls that raise a challenge.” Cummins concluded.
