It was a hot, cold late afternoon in Kansas City to kick off the NFL Divisional Round. But the tension was mostly on the Houston Texans’ sideline as tempers flared in the opening moments of a high-stakes game against the leading back-to-back Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
The cameras showed the Texans’ defense Kris Boyd almost drank the ball Houston special teams coach Frank Ross on the ground immediately following the kickoff in the playoffs.
The Texans turned the ball over to the Chiefs to start the game. Chiefs running back Nico Remigio took the snap and quickly broke through several Texans who were potentially tackling.
