Romanian tennis player Sorana Cirstea claims she was stolen from some precious hardware while in New York City for the 2025 US open.
“Whoever stole my Cleveland trophy from room 314 @thefiftySonona give back!” Cirstea, 35, wrote through his Instagram story on Saturday, August 30.
It is alleged that the Cirstea trophy has been stolen from fifty of the New York Sonesta Hotel, located in Midtown Manhattan.
Weekly US reached out to the hotel and the NYPD for comments.

I really wanted to wait for as long as possible here, so I’m very happy that I’ve managed to do that.”
She added, “It’s been a special week for me. I came here to play some games with absolutely zero expectations.”
