A Georgia teenage girl has been charged with killing her mother and stepfather after she claimed she had reached out to Tiktok bloggers for help resolving the case.
According to court documents seen by Weekly US on Friday, July 18, Sarah Grace Patrick Arrested on July 8 in Carroll County on two counts of murder and two counts of worse assault. At the time, she was refused a bond.
“We can confirm that an arrest has been made in this case,” wrote Carroll County Sheriff’s Office by also Facebook on July 8. “Kristin BrockA 17 -year -old girl, Sarah Grace Patrick, has been taken into custody and charged with two charges of murder and two counts of aggravating attack in connection with her mother’s deaths (Kristin) and her stepfather (James Brock). “
The arrest came more than a year after police discovered the bodies of Kristin, 41, and James, 45, on the morning of February 20, 2025.
“Although the case has not remained in the public spotlight in recent months, this investigation has never gone quietly,” police said in their latest statement. “Real justice takes time, time to make sure no details are ignored, no stone unrest.”
Even with the arrest, police said the case remains an active and ongoing investigation and that additional arrests were possible as new evidence emerges. Anyone with information is still encouraged to come forward.
“Our prayers remain with the families of James and Kristin Brock, and especially with their young daughter who was at home during this horrific crime,” said police. “We also want to extend our warm gratitude to the community who rally for justice and never gave up hope.”

Carroll’s Director of Communications Ashley Hulsey confirmed to Fox News Digital At a press conference July 11 that Patrick had a Tiktok account who commented on jobs relating to the case and said researchers had revealed “the mountains of evidence.”
Patrick’s grandfather Dennis Nolan questioned the strength of the case and believes his granddaughter was innocent.
“It’s all speculative things,” he said in an interview with Fox 5 Atlanta. “Nothing puts the gun in her hand. They don’t have the gun.”
After the arrest of Patrick, Nolan said he received a phone call from his granddaughter in prison.
“What are they doing for me?” Apparently, he told Nolan. “Why do they do this for me? I didn’t do anything.”
