Ted Cruz supports Roy’s chip representative for Prosecutor General Texas in the 2026 race

Hay. Ted CrossR-Texas, on Saturday, supported a representative of Roy Roy, Texas, after the Conservative Congress announced his candidacy to become the next Lone Star prosecutor.

Roy who announced his run Thursday seeks to replace the current Attorney General, Ken PodaWhich decided not to run for re -election in 2026 and instead works in the US Senate against Senator John Corin, Texas.

In his approval, Roy, Cruz said that the next Attorney General of the state involved in the fact that there are several outstanding candidates. Other proclaimed republican candidates include the State Sena. Joan Hafman and Macy Middleton, as well as former Assistant Prosecutor General for Law Policy Aaron Reyt.

“There are now several outstanding candidates for the Texas Prosecutor General. All of them my friends, all of them, have been my strong fans for many years. Texas has blessed many strong conservatives who perform ahead to head how this one,” Chris said on Saturday’s statement.

Cruz said Roy was his first chief of staff and was a close friend and ally for more than 12 years.

“We spent more fighting together than I can count, and I know that the chip is always, always, always fighting for conservative values,” Krus said.

“Having more than two decades of devoted service in Texas, the chip invariably showed courage, integrity and conviction necessary to protect our great state,” he continued. “He is tried at the Battle and a fierce defender of the Constitution. I have complete confidence that he will advocate the rule of law, preserve the rights and freedoms of Texas, and consider those who threaten our great state.

Roy made a announcement in the video, which was divided into X, saying that he seeks to preserve the heritage of the state “freedom, freedom and self -determination”.

“Texas has a long and proud tradition to protect our homes, our freedom and our communities,” he wrote in an accompanying message. “I’m running for the Prosecutor General to continue this heritage … without fear of fighting, not afraid to win, and not afraid to protect Texas at every step. #Livefree.”

Roy said he was honored to represent the 21st Congress in the United States, and that he was especially proud of “our work on the implementation of the President Trump’s agenda and the struggle for the swamp drain.”

“I could do it forever and be done professionally. But the representatives should not be constant. And my Texas observation experience is united in response to the devastating flood floods, made it clear that I wanted to return home,” Roy said in a statement. “I want to take my experience in Congress as a Federal Prosecutor, and as the first assistant to the Prosecutor General to Texas from Texas.”

“Texas is attacked by the politicians of open, radical left and faceless foreign corporations that threaten our sovereignty, safety and lifestyle,” he added. “It’s time to draw a line on the sand. As the Attorney General, I will fight every day for our rights God, for our families and for the future of Texas.”

Roy served in the US since 2019.
