The champions of the Premier League Liverpool kept their start perfect for the season, as they passed the arsenal courtesy of a sumptuous Dominik Szoboszlai Free-Kick in Anfield.
In a game that won last season’s title winners against runners -up, it was not surprising that it was a time of magic that finally separated the two teams.
Szoboszlai, who was used again as a right cut, provided such a moment, and collided with a wonderful 30 -meter piece to lift the reds at the table summit.
Arsenal, Liverpool’s last victory, arrived almost 13 years ago when director Mikel Arteta was a North -Londonian player, he marked what was a Cagey first 45 minutes.
But it was the side of Arne Slot who came out on top, collecting what could be a major early victory against one of the contestants in his crown.

Perhaps predictably Liverpool boasted most of the possession in the early stages. In the absence of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, the Gunners’ play plan seemed to be a built on a fierce intensity without the ball.
But it was far from the start ideal for the men of Arteta, with William Saliba, which took place after only four minutes, replaced by Cristhian Mosquera, 21.
Entering the party, the defense of Arteta still had to breach. But Liverpool showed his intention to change it with the first real opportunity of the game that came to courtesy of Cody Gakpo.
However, the Dutch effort pushed the wrong side of David Raya’s near place.
Noni Madueke, the brightest threat of Arsenal, against Milos Kerkez on the right, had the first view of his goal team not long after his fierce strike in a corner was hit by Alisson.
And this was almost this during the first 45 minutes of opening; A first energetic but mostly Cagey period between the champions and the runner -up last season, perhaps surprisingly, producing very few genuine opportunities.
After the pause, Madueke continued to offer the most dangerous departure of the visitors, but Kerkez remained firm against the rhythm and jogging of the end of England.
On the other side of the pitch, despite a prolific goal scan against the Gunners, Mohamed Salah was having a quiet afternoon.
Florian Wirtz, Liverpool’s record signature, has not been enough at the height of his price of 116 million pounds in his first Red Games.
But just before the time mark, the German player showed fast reactions to attract a smart raya stop before another new Anfield boy, Hugo Ekitike, grouped the rebound at home.
However, the French striker was marked out of play and the score remained.
It seemed that he caused the contest in life. With the hosts showing the most promises in the final third, Arteta reacted by providing Odegaard and the debutant Ebeechi Eze for 70 minutes.
But the change made little to turn the tide and just over 10 minutes later, the champions broke the deadline spectacularly.
From a free foul 30 meters from the goal, Szoboszlai made a sublime effort that touched and coiled beyond raya and out of the post.
It was a worthy goal of winning any football game and, therefore, turned out to be the difference between the two parties.
For Liverpool, its 100% record this season is still intact, while, for Arsenal, the first victory in Anfield for a decade continues.
