Super Subtyemang and Kelly send lions to another end of the euro

England arrived in the final of the Euro 2025 in the most dramatic circumstances as two goals from the last grass of substitutes Michelle Agyemang and Chloe Kelly won a 2-1 victory over Italy.

The lions came to their third final of the tournament and defend their European title Sunday, despite the fact that they were going home for a long time in Geneva on Tuesday night after Barbara Bonansea’s first goal.

But Agyemang struck the Igualada at Igualada at the sixth minute of the stop, before Kelly marked with a minute next time to play after seeing her penalty saved.

Sarina Wiegman’s side will now face Spain or Germany in the final Sunday in Basel.

England vs Italy as it happened

Italy frustrates lions

The first opportunity for the lions fell to the Russian Alessia striker. Still without a goal in the tournament, the Arsenal striker made a good space in the box, but his strike whistled on the wrong side of the right post.

But Italy landed the first time after slowly growing in the game, and England did not end before Bonansea put a touch and went to put the little ones in front.

The lions responded well and could have equalized quickly, but the goal Laura Giuliani read the striker’s striker’s shot well.

Wiegman’s side began the second half showing more intentions and improvements, but once again he did not have the quality in the final third, with Lauren Hemp and she Toone, although he ended up disappointed after finding in good positions.

However, the threat of Italy remained with Hannah Hampton occupied to block several shots.

Georgia Stanway and hemp forced more of Guiliani’s stops, but Stopper Azzurre seemed desperate to be struck as time began to end for European defenders champions.

Super Subloted again

Not for the first time in this tournament, Wiegman went to the bench for inspiration and that player was, once again, Chloe Kelly.

After avoiding granting another goal at halftime, Kelly’s first action was to cut off and win a corner, with the header resulting from Lucy Bronze blocked, before the same player himself won much more with another who sinked to the goal, but Italy managed to erase.

AGGIE BEEVER-JONES and MICHELLE AGYEMANG were the following when Wiegman chose to remove Alessia Russo and Captain Leah Williamson for what he felt as the final dice roll in the tournament.

But when it seemed that the Super Subs ran out of magic, Agyemang increased again in the sixth minute of stoppage, dropping home after the Hemp cross did not meet to end Italy’s resistance.

Kelly wins it again

There was very little to report in the extension, up to the final three minutes when the Super Subs of England once again appeared.

Agyemang, full of confidence after his impressive time, almost scored one of the goals of the tournament with a loop effort that won the crossbar.

Moments later and with about a minute to play, England received a penalty for a free kick by Emma Severini in Beth Mead and went back to another Sub -Sub.

Kelly, the goalkeeper who won the euros in England by 2022, saw that his kick was saved before touching the rebound to another sensational victory, as his side reached his third end of the successive tournament.
