Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has begun the renovation of the side after a disappointing IPL 2025 season. Former New Zealand, James Franklin, was the first to lose his job with the Hyderabad Sunrisers before the next edition of the IPL.
On Monday, July 14, the SRH welcomed the old Pacler Indian Varun Aaron to his coach ahead of the IPL 2026. James Franklin showed the door when Varun Aaron joined the Orange army as the new bowling coach for next season.

Aaron, who was known for his dirty rhythm and aggression during his game days, will now guide SRH bowls. The franchise welcomed the old Indian Pealer by calling the “burning addition” to its configuration. With his experience in the national and international cricket, the SRH expects Varun to provide fresh energy and sharp strategies to the team’s bowling unit at the IPL 2026.

India and Varun Aaron’s domestic career in number
