Sudan’s military personnel on Friday are redesigned by the Republican Palace In HartumThe latter is a strongly protective bastion of paramilitary forces in the capital after almost two years of fighting.
The stroke of the republican palace, surrounded by government ministries, became the main symbolic victory for Sudan’s military against the militant rapid support forces – although this probably does not mean the end of the war because RSF pursues the territory in the Western Darfur region and elsewhere.
Sudan’s army proclaims a video that allegedly shows their troops carrying the scratched enemies
Video on social media showed Sudanese soldiers in the palace, giving a date of 21 days RamadanThe Holy Muslim Moon, which corresponds to Friday. The Sudanese military officer, who carries the captain’s epic, made a statement in the video and confirmed that the troops were in the connection.
The palace seemed to be in the ruins, and the soldiers stepped on broken tiles. The troops carrying assault rifles and rocket grenade launchers chanted: “God is the biggest!”
Khaled al-Ajes, Sudan’s Information Minister, said the military had transferred the palace in the position on the social platform X.

“Today the flag is raised, the palace has returned, and the journey continues until the victory is complete,” he wrote.
Later, curious residents wandered around the palace. The walls stood, the rifles marked. Blood smears led to corpses that were accidentally covered with blankets.
Falling Palace – a symbolic and strategic moment
The fall of the republican palace-connection along the Nile River, which became the place of control before the war broke out, and was immortalized on the Sudanese banknotes and postage stamps, another income from the Sudan military personnel, which has been stabbed in recent months under the chief of the Army General.
It also means that RSF’s competitive fighters under Mohammed Hamdan’s General were mostly expelled from Khartum’s capital. The sporadic gun could be heard throughout the capital on Friday, though it was unclear whether she participated in the struggle or was festive.
Brig. General Nabil Abdullah, Press Socialist Sudanese militaryHe said his troops were holding the palace surrounding the ministry and the Arab market south of the complex.
Khartum International Airport, only about 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) southeast of the palace, has taken place since the beginning of the war in April 2023.
Suleiman Sond, a politician associated with the RSF, acknowledged that the military took the palace and called it part of “ups and falls”.
Later, the RSF issued a statement stating that his forces “are still present in the immediate vicinity of the area, and courageously fight.” The attack on the drone on the palace, which was allegedly launched by RSF, which was reportedly killed by troops and journalists with Sudanese state television, is allegedly launched.
At the end of Thursday, RSF claimed that he had taken control of the Sudanese city of Al-Malich, a strategic desert city in the north of Darfur near the borders with Chad and Libya. Sudan’s military personnel recognized the fight around Al-Malich, but did not say she had lost the city.
Al-Malich is about 200 kilometers (125 miles) north of the city of El Faser, which remains the Sudanese military, despite the strikes in December.
The head of the UN Children’s Agency said Sudan’s conflict has created the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. On Friday, UNICEF separately refused the robbery of food assistance to go to the under -bengers at Al -Bashire Hospital on the outskirts of Khartum.
“Commercial deliveries and humanitarian aid were blocked for more than three months with a constant conflict on key routes,” UNICEF warned. “As a result, a serious shortage of food, medicines and other essentials will be obtained, and thousands of civilians have been active.”
The war killed more than 28,000 people, made millions running out of their homes and left some families to eat grass in a desperate attempt to survive when the hunger pursues parts of the country. Other estimates suggest much more dead.
The Republican Palace became the place of power during the British colonization of Sudan. In 1956, some of the first flags of independent Sudan emerged. The complex was also the head office of the President of Sudan and other higher officials.
The Sudanese military has long aimed at the palace and its platforms, shelling and shooting.
Sudan has encountered years of chaos and war
Sudan, a nation in northeast Africa, was unstable after the popular uprising made the removal of the old autocratic President Omar Al-Bashir in 2019. In 2021, a short transition to democracy was thwarted.
RSF and Sudan’s military began fighting each other in 2023.
Since the beginning of the year, Burhan’s forces, including Sudan’s military police and the Union militias, have advanced against the RSF. They repeat the key refineries north of Khartum, pressed on the positions of RSF around Khartum itself. The fighting led to an increase in civil victims.
Al-Bashir threatens the International Criminal Court for holding a genocidal campaign in the early 2000s in the Western Darfur region with the Janjaweed police, RSF’s predecessor. Human rights groups and Ann accuse RSF and Union Arab militias again attack ethnic African groups in this last war.
