If you are a big fan of Star Wars, you probably have a subscription to Disney+ so you can test all the content of remote galaxy, far away. Well, almost all: to this day, the Mouse House has never made the original, non-specialist edition versions of the original trilogy available for either physical or digital release to fans. Amazingly, a decade -old version of the Star Wars film’s first original cut was short available when streaming through the Roku Cinema Box App, and the fact that it was diserembers proving that Disney has become an empire against the fans who keep the studio in business.
When we say this was the Star Wars Original cut, we’re talking about the version before the movie even receives its subtitle, New hope. That means the version of the film cinema box was broadcast before 1981, when George Lucas first named this CHAPTER IV. This version of the film disappeared when a cinema box was removed from YearBut the fact that she took a free third-party app to make the non-specialist edition version of this iconic film proves how much Disney has been holding out on fans even as they run this franchise to the ground.
At this point, some Star Wars fans (especially younger ones) may question why it is so important to have the original cuts of these films available, especially as the special editions are already available on stream. One reason, of course, is aesthetics: the later reforms made each film so much more still … as, just look at that terrible CGI music sequence added to Jabba Palace. They also ruined some of the best views; For example, George Lucas made sure that Han Solo was no longer shooting Greedo first and making Darth Vader repeatedly said “no” while Luke Skywalker Zapped by Force Lightning.
The main reason that the original Star Wars cuts should be streaming on Disney+, nevertheless, is that these are versions of these films that a whole generation of fans grew. For reasons that have never been clear, the non-specialist editions of these films have never been on Blu-ray or streaming through more official channels. Amazingly, the only way for fans to experience these original versions is usually their marines, and because most fans want to break the law and less do not know where to look, the best version of this legendary sci-fi Can trilogy ever legally seen by another fan.
Without taking a full tinfoil hat on you, we can’t see this as anything other than a minor movement power on Disney’s part. Let us watch the original trilogy as planned would have side effects … namely, fans would begin to realize how exactly bam Spinoff shows like Boba Fett’s book And even Obi-Wan Kenobi Actually compared to the franchise at its best. But by ensuring that only versions of these films can stream filled with poor CGI, terrible edits, and unnecessary dialogue, Disney helps to cover his continued failures with this franchise by suggesting that such flaws are there from the beginning.
Unfortunately, the Mouse House has not realized that holding the original Star Wars cuts back from streaming is a bit like Grand Moff Tarkin flexing its power … the more Disney tightened its grip, the more fans sliding through their fingers. After the huge failure of the sequence trilogy, the studio should work, above all, on restoring the faith and goodwill of the fandom. But the fact that a cinema box has shown a version of New hope that Disney+ ever Will is proof that Disney will never make the fans happy and will continue to make a warm-up slope out of the most beloved sci-fi franchise.
At this point we have to ask: are they really that Surprisingly we do not open our mouths wide and beg for more?
