The first appearance of director William Shatner remains a very defective film with a very stupid conspiracy, but at least provided some great character moments (like the sad literature about Dr. McCoy and his father) and interesting ideas (such as the idea of God possibly being pretty much that may be quite evil alien hidden deep within our galaxy). Section 31However, it has mainly disposable characters and no real original ideas. It is the distillation of the general Nutrek ethos where writers and producers assume that fans want no more than violence, bloodshed, and one note villains.
With any luck, Section 31 Officially is the worst Star Trek movie and will call as a waking call. Supporters clearly want adventures to focus on exploration (such as Strange new worlds) and stories that control humor and heart (such as Lower deck).
