Hundreds of houses and roads were flooded on Lansarot after heavy rainfall swept on Saturday.
The Lanzarot government announced an emergency over the night after 6 cm (2.4 inches) of the rain, which poured into a popular tourist place in just two hours.
The Spanish authorities did not report the injuries – and the state of emergency was lifted on Sunday morning.
The head of the emergency service Lansarot said that the local media were shipped, and the floods that left behind a “large amount of dirt”.
“We work all night by visiting 300 calls per night, many of them in Arrecife and Teguise,” Espinosa said Enrique on Sunday.
According to local media, more than 150 incidents in Costa Taguise and over 70 in Arsif took part in the ambulance.
According to the Lansarot government, the San Bartoloma area was severely injured.
The dramatic staff that circulate in the social media shows a large splash of flooding water, which flows quickly under the bridge, leaving cars that are on flooded roads.
The Canary are especially vulnerable to the flood when hitting with rich rain, as their dry climate and volcanic rock mean that the earth does not absorb large volumes of water.
The pouring rain came out of the back of Olivier’s storm, which has been swept over the Canaries, Maintary Spain and Portugal in recent days – causing several weather alerts.
The Spanish meteorological service issued warnings about the weather for many parts of the country from Sunday to Tuesday – including thunderstorms in the northeast, rain on the Balearic Islands and wind in the northern and southern coasts.
