South Africans remember the acting icon who has died 40 years

The South African people pay tribute to the actor of the Presley Queniaga, who died at the age of 40.

In a statement in which he announced his death, his agency called him a “South African icon” and one of the “most gifted and favorite actors of the country.”

The South African government has published a message on X, which described it as “a gifted storyteller whose talent lit up our screens and hearts.”

Chueneyagae, born in 1984 in the northwestern South African province, received its big international break after removing Tsotsi 2005, which earned the country the first Oscar for the best foreign language.

Tsei, a powerful crime in which Chweeneyagae plays a major role, explores the life of a gang in the South African settlement.

Chueneyagae also starred in Nelson’s biopic walk in 2013, as well as acting in various theater productions.

South African films and television awards called it a “real legend of South African cinema” and “Power Plant”.

The Ministry of Sport, Art and Culture has released a statement that emphasizes its role in the popular South African River and Cobrick series.

“The Department of Sports, Art and Culture, mourning the loss of a true trader, a narrator who held the soul of the nation in her craft,” said Culture Minister Gaitan McKenzi.
