Two weeks after announcing the birth of her second child, Sophia Grace Brownlee shares an update.
On January 5, Brownlee publish that her second child, a baby girl, was born on December 29.
Now, Brownlee is announcing her baby girl’s name.
On January 19, the social media star, who became known to the world following an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2011, she shared a photo of herself and her baby girl standing in front of a wall decorated with balloons and flowers.
The balloons spelled out her name, Athena Rose.
Her middle name appears to be a nod to her cousin, Rosie McClellandwhich went viral alongside Brownlee almost 14 years ago.
After announcing Athena’s birth, Rosie captioned a video she posted two days later writing, “I love her so much. Proud of you.”
Rosie later shared a photo on her own account sitting next to Brownlee and Athena.
“Life with you lately has been so special and I’m so proud of you, my cousin, my best friend!”
In his latest YouTube videoRosie called Brownlee’s birth “a shock because she went into labor early,” but added that Athena was “beautiful.”
“She’s literally the best mom in the world,” Rosie shared, admitting that Brownlee had a video of herself giving birth that she shared with Rosie.
“I’ve got baby fever,” said Rosie, but added that she wanted to wait until her late twenties before having children.
Athena joins her big brother, Brownlee, who was born in February 2023.
