Somaliland stands for Somalia’s proposal to Trump from Air Base and Port Berber

The Somali region of Somaliland rejected the Central Government attempt to give exceptional control over the port and air base in Berber.

The city lies on the strategic Gulf of Adene, on the northern coast of Somolyland. The territory that declared independence in 1991, when Somali entered the civil war, says the premises cannot be heard by Magadish.

In a letter to US President Donald Trump, who saw Reuters, Somalia President Hassan Sheikh also offered a port and air base in Somalia, saying that all four will strengthen US security operations.

Al-Shabab, which controls the territory in South and Central Somalia, is considered as the most successful al-Qaeda branch.

Observers say Magadish is afraid that Trump will reduce US support, as during his first term.

In December, the Somali government signed $ 600,000 (492,000 pounds) a year with the highest lobbying firm in Washington for advice on US-Salia.
