Somali militants al-Shabab storm on the storms of the Qahira hotel

Police and witnesses said the armed Islamists had invaded a hotel in Beletvevein in Central Somalia, and the siege was ongoing, police and witnesses said.

The al-Shababa attack began with an explosion of a car bomb, after which the militants were included in the hotel, which led to intensive contractions with security forces.

Police said at least four people were killed, but the witnesses reported the BBC that the death toll has grown to 10 and security forces were still fighting the Qahira militants.

Al-Shabab, which is associated with al-Qaeda, is holding a brutal uprising in Somalia for more than two decades.

The raid for the hotel took place as politicians, officials and traditional elders to discuss plans for an offensive against a group in Central Somalia.

Beledwain is about 335 km (208 miles) north of the capital, Mogadishu, and is a strategic place in the company against al-Shabab.

“Security forces decide several militants that are driven in one part of the building,” he said.

The federal legislator from Belarussian Dahir Amen eaten the BBC that there were almost seven militants at the hotel.

“To neutralize the situation, you will need to bring forces with heavy weapons,” he said.

Parts of the hotel were reduced to rubble when government forces and militants exchanged fire, Kramnik Ali Suleiman, who witnessed the attack, Reuters told the Reuters.

It is unclear how many people were injured, but the legislator said he was trying to organize planes to fly the victims to Mogadish for treatment.
