Saturday night live makes many changes to the cast for season 51.
Showrunner Lorne Michaels teased that a casting Following the 50th season of the Milestone of the Diversity Show.

“For me, jobs in this industry feel like a bunch of small weddings. Some of em lasting a long time if we’re lucky, but most of them are floating,” Walker wrote. “Permanently until they are not. That’s the deal. You know what it is when you register.”
He continued: “I and the show did three years together, and sometimes it was very cool. Sometimes it was toxic as hell. But… we made the best of what it was, even in the midst of all the malfunction.
Emil Wakim
Taylor Hill/FilmmagicAfter Walker’s shocking announcement, Wakim shared that he would not come back to the show following his first season.
“It was a gut punch of call to get but I’m so grateful for my time there,” Wakim reflected by Instagram On August 27. “I was in six banners celebrating my friend’s 36th birthday and I went on a very emotional walk through Bugs Bunny Park and starred out across Daffy Duck Lake thinking about life.”
Wakim also expressed his thanks for the experience.
“Every time I scaned into the building I would wonder how crazy it is to get to work there. It was the most terrifying, thrilling and rewarding experience of my life and I will miss him dear and all the great people who work there who made him feel like home. Thanks Lorne for taking a chance and changing my life,” he continued. “I was so lucky to bring some of myself in there and say things I believed in and I’m excited about whatever episode comes next. Here’s to making more art without compromising.”

Taylor Hill/FilmmagicClose reported on Aug 28 that Longfellow leave Swallow After three seasons. Longfellow has not addressed his departure.
The news broke on August 28 that Gardner would not return For season 51 after staring on the series for eight years. Gardner did not immediately comment on the news.
