Local officials who are near the archaeological site in the Guatemala jungle are considered to be those of the US bird observers, which is reportedly missing almost two and a half years ago.
The shirt, sandals and shorts, which were released by Raymond Vincent Ashcroft on the day of its disappearance, were found in the same place where human bones were discovered, Carlos Sima reports from the Prosecutor General.
The 66 -year -old Ashcroft was part of the bird watching group, which visited the ancient city of interest, in February 2023 in the city, in February 2023.
At the time of his disappearance, his wife said that Mr. Ashcroft decided to return to the hotel but never arrived.

Human bones and clothes that correspond to those who carried Ashcroft were seen in the jungle 14 km from the archaeological monument to the residents of the neighboring village, Mr. Siza said on the local radio station.
According to the official of the Prosecutor General Prosecutor for crimes against foreign tourists, the remains lay in dense vegetation and can only be reached.
He added that the DNA test will determine whether the remains of the ashcroft would be.

In 2022, a 53-year-old German man separated from his group and died from a heat stroke.
And in 2023, the French family was found dehydrated but safe after losing two days.
