Christine BrownYsabel’s daughter had some doubts about her mother’s hurricane engagement to a husband David Woolley.

Sister Wives fans watched Christine and David tie the knot on the Sunday, January 12, episode of the reality series, which also documented the reactions of their loved ones to the wedding. While preparing for the big day, Ysabel, 21, told Christine when she realized that David would be The One.

“We were out of town and he was looking at you and he was like, ‘Oh, I love you so much,'” said Ysabel. “Like, just honest and pure. And I’ve never heard someone say ‘I love you’ as much as you.”

Christine smiled as she listened to her daughter, who went on to share a slightly different story to the TLC cameras in a confessional.

“When David proposed to my mother for the first time, I thought it was too soon. I thought it was too soon,” revealed Ysabel. “But I think I’ve had time to, like, adapt to it.”

Before that Christine was in a spiritual marriage with Kody Brown for more than 25 years, announcing their split in November 2021. Kody’s relationship with wives Janelle Brown a Mary Brown it ended soon after. He remains legally married Robyn Brown.

Following her split from Kody – who is she with? shares six childrenincluding Ysabel — Christine first announced her romance with David in February 2023. He proposed two months later, and the pair exchanged vows in October 2023.

“It’s given me a lot more clarity to see, like, how much they love each other,” Ysabel said in Sunday’s episode. “I’m just excited and happy for them.”

When it was time for Christine to walk down the aisle, her son, Paedon, was with her. “I said (to him), ‘Am I supposed to be nervous?'” Christine recalled in a confession. “I’m not even nervous. And then we started walking and I looked over at David, and he’s like, ‘My heart is mine.'”

Paedon struggled to hold back tears as he walked beside his mother, telling her that David was “a very good man.” Christine passed to her father, Rexjust before they reach the altar.

Reflecting on Christine’s wedding day, Ysabel gushed over the “perfect” ceremony in Utah. She went on to describe how she has adjusted to Christine and David “getting married so quickly,” sharing that she couldn’t be happier for the couple.

“I think I’ve had time to get to know David and to get to know him, like, as a father and as someone who is an amazing guy,” she told the cameras. “I couldn’t imagine life without him now.”

Christine’s children celebrated seeing her so happy — and they weren’t the only supportive voices. Janelle’s children was also on hand to help guide Christine into her next chapter.

“For the first time in a long time, it felt like the real Brown family was back,” said son Gabe, whose relationship with Kody has been rocky over the years.

Kody even voiced his support for his ex’s new marriage. “Actually where I’m at Christine is happy and that’s great,” he admitted, despite feeling “FOMO” about missing the actual wedding day.
