The Bachelor The couple were together for four years before James, 33, announced via Instagram this week that they had called it quits – just a day after sharing loving messages with Rachael, 28, from a trip to London.
The timing had fans scratching their heads – including a TikTok sleuth Gabby Whitewho shared a video via the social media platform on Friday, January 17, shares speculation as to why the break up played out the way it did.
“The last thing I will say, which is the strangest to me is that I know it including London she’s probably sponsored,” he said in the video. “It’s probably under contractual obligation to post it but the timing between getting a post like a happy-go-lucky post, being in the comments so loving and affectionate, together in public is literally 12 hours later posted this crazy break up post, that’s the weirdest. part for me.”
The video prompted one follower to respond in the comments section, “The old London content makes sense if it was sponsored, but feels like it could have been edited out or disliked/replied to comments about her on the posts.”
Jumping in with new information, Trinity replied to the comment to explain the timing of the end of her sister’s relationship with James.
“Yes, they were still together when he posted all that… just to put some perspective on the timeline of things,” Trinity wrote.
Follow up TikTok posts White revealed that Trinity claimed that James uploaded his break-up post just three hours after the couple split.

James announced his split from Rachael in the early hours of Thursday, January 16 via Instagram.
“Father, give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts. Give us peace about this decision to end our relationship that goes beyond worldly understanding,” James wrote alongside a photo of him and Rachael on The Bachelor season 25.
Tagging Rachael in the post, James added, “Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our joy comes from you, Lord 💔.”
James chose Rachael as his Bachelor winner during season 25, which aired in early 2021. However, by the After the Final Rose special in March of that year, James said they had broken up after social media activity Racially insensitive Rachael reappeared. The couple reconciled a month later.
Following the post, some Bachelor fans questioned whether Rachael had been “disabled” by the split.
