Simone Biles a Jonathan Owens everyone looked delighted in his latest game!
The Chicago Bears might not have won against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, December 16, but Owens, 29, got one heck of a consolation prize: a sweet kiss from his Olympic gymnast wife.
There is a clip share via social media from ESPN and SportsCenter from Monday’s game at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis showed Biles, 27, joining her husband on the field for a sweet embrace. “I love you,” she can be heard telling Owens.
The seven-time Olympic gold medalist looked stylish for the game, wearing an all-black ensemble, including high-top black boots, a fur coat and a fur hat.
Earlier in the day, Biles shared clips through her as well Instagram stories of her sharing a pregame cocktail with Torrie Brownwho is married to the team’s tight end Margaret Lewis.
Biles and her man – who wed in April 2023 – have packed on the PDA before attended the Bears’ away game against the San Francisco 49ers on December 8. Before the game, Owens met Biles on the sideline, where they both wrapped their arms around each other’s waists and hugged.
The Olympic gymnast and bear safety have been dating since 2020, meeting and pairing for the first time Raya dating app. At the time, Owens had no idea how famous Biles was.
“(I) had been on the (Raya dating app) for a couple of days and then she pops up. I’m like, ‘Lemme see who this is,’” Owens remember during a December 2023 appearance on “The Pivot” podcast. “I never paid attention to gymnastics, so my curiosity was piqued (and I was like), ‘I’ll see what’s up.'”
Owens was playing for the Houston Texans at the time, near Biles’ training facility.
Over the summer, Biles became most decorated US gymnast in Olympic history during the Paris 2024 Olympics, taking home three golds and a silver, bringing his total number of medals to 11. He entered the Olympics with seven medals, tying Shannon Millerwho competed in the 1992 and 1996 Olympics.
After winning gold in the women’s vault competition in August, Biles not ruling out competition yet at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
“Is this my last? Definitely (my final) Yurchenko’s double pike,” Biles quipped during a press conference on Aug. 3. “I mean, I nailed that one. … The next Olympics are at home (in Los Angeles). So, you never know. But I’m getting very old.”
