“Apart from Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth of what used to be. I mean, obviously, A lot of girls don’t work so hard. The women of the ethic only have work, ”said Skinner, 27, in a YouTube video that has since been deleted since late last month.” Many women don’t work so hard. “
Skinner added that the US Safesport Center, an independent organization responding to “to sexual, physical and emotional abuse” in the US Olympic and Paralympic movement, makes it more difficult for coaches to push their athletes to Olympic levels.
“Coaches can’t go on athletes who in some ways are very good but at the same time, to get to where you need to be in gymnastics you have to be … a little aggressive, a little intense,” explained the Olympic Silver Medal winner in June.
Skinner apologized since her statements, saying she had been “misinterpreted” and “misunderstood,” adding that she was “not always (talking) about the current team.”
However, he prompted his comments responses from several compellers who will represent the US team in the 2024 Paris Olympics In July, including Biles, which seemed to respond to their former team as well.

Biles was one of many gymnasts who testified against Larry NassarUSA Gymnastics Doctor found guilty of first -degree sexual assault. The Nassar scandal, where over 250 gymnasts of sexual abuse under medical treatment, led to the creation of the United States Center for Safesport.
Skinner retired from Gymnastics in August 2021 following the Tokyo Olympics, for which he represented the US team after Biles had to step away because of the “Twisties.”

Skinner returned to competition at an elite level for the US 2019 Classicwhere the second-highest vault score landed behind Biles.
The gymnasts met again at the 2019 US National Championships, where Biles and Skinner applied for the US National Women’s Senior Team, per Gymnastics USA.
Skinner and Biles traveled to the 2019 World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany, along with fellow players Grace McCallum, Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey.

“We’re going to Tokyo🎉,” Biles wrote through Instagram at the time. “Such a surrealist feeling. I can’t believe that I made the Olympic team for the 2nd time and I’m beyond exciting to represent the US team. So proud of everyone – this is just the start of the journey. Thanks for all the endless support and love. We can’t ask for better support 🖤.”
Team USA competed at the Olympics in Tokyo, where Skinner Le Biles took the vault’s final when Biles dropped out because of the “Twisties,” leading Skinner to take the silver medal home.
However, Skinner, who said Tokyo’s Olympics were his last before retirement, failed to move beyond the qualifying round for the Gymnastics final around.
Biles went on to share Message of support for her fellow team. “So proud of this one,” Biles wrote through his Instagram story at the time. “No one understands the hard work and dedication it takes to come back from college gymnastics and make an Olympic team.”
“You did the damning thing! Thanks for reminding us that grandmothers can do it too!” Biles added, flirting up that she and Skinner were the “oldest” gymnasts at the age of 24. “Thanks for keeping a gym light and fun! I love you Ms Olympian.”
Skinner responded to Biles in the comments, writing, “Don’t know what I would do without youuuu !!! Thanks Sis.”

He also explained that the “last thing” she wanted her comments to make “was to cause harm or offend our Olympic team in the US,” adding, “I know these women are amazing – the best of the best – and almost all of them are my ex -players I have enjoyed a great ploy on the past few years.”
Addressing Biles directly, Skinner noted: “Ask your followers to stop. You’ve been an amazing champion for mental health awareness and many people need your help now. We’ve been attacked in ways I’m sure you’ve never intended.
After Biles and Conservative political activist Riley gaines Gone to a social media row over the latter’s transphobic comments, Skinner was leaning in.
“As an athlete who has devoted years to a feat, I have always believed that the true competition should be our promotion-not reducing others,” Skinner said in a statement to the de-dd-right American media outlet. “That’s why it is very upset to see @simone_biles labeled a fellow fellow -a -female ‘sore loser’ – just for expressing legitimate concerns about fairness in women’s sport.”
He added, “I praise and appreciate @riley_gains_ for being brave enough to speak out. Women like her not only stand for fairness, but for the future of female athletics herself. She deserves support – not ridicule.”
Skinner further claimed that Biles had “bullied” and “humiliated” when they were fellow players. Biles did not immediately address the charges. Weekly US reach out for comments at the time.
