Indian captain Shubman Gill did a commendable job by winning the second test in Edgbaston, as he became the first Asian pattern to achieve this remarkable feat. This has even forced the former pattern of England Nasser Hussain to praise the Indian star.
After scoring 1014 shots at the two entrances to the Birmingham test, India claimed its largest victory over a team outside India, as they won the game by a huge margin of 336 runs.
Nasser Hussain was one of the first players to greatly criticize the newly appointed 25 -year -old Indian Pattern, Shubman Gill. The critic took place after India lost his first test to Leeds, as he said Gill never looked like a captain with constant contributions by Ris Habh Pant and Kl Rahul.

Nasser Hussain criticized Gill’s captaincy after the first test in Headingley. Said:
“I thought I saw someone just finding their way, honestly. You have to be very careful in the first test game, the people he took over, Kohli, and then Rohit Sharma. I thought he didn’t have much in the aura in the field like the names I mentioned there.”
However, after the victory of the Edgbaston test, making a difference with Kohli’s virating captaincy, Hussain greeted Shubman Gill’s attitude in the field all time in India field in Edgbaston.
“He will always be calm and composed. He has just listened to that interview. He has a very low heartbeat. So he will not be a Kohli type character. He has a low heartbeat, but that can help,” he told Sky Sports.
“Look at this crowd here today. Look at all India looking -maybe you need someone just to calm the team,” added the former English player.
During the procedures on the 5th of the second test, the Indian Captain Shubman Gill made a controversial call while asking his most successful diaper from the game, Akash Deep, to change with the new ball despite having chosen two doctors of the same final.
Akash Deep’s final exchange shocked Nasser Hussain, as no captain would have thought, but Gill made the shocking change of the extremes. Akash Deep chose four more doctors as he threw himself from this end and finished the entries with six doctors in Edgbaston.
“He did some subtle things that we would not do. Akash Deep got in the end of this end. This morning we thought he would start this end. He started at the end, and he worked. So there were tactical things that he did in the game that really worked,” said Nasser Hussain in the probable movement.

Nasser Hussain has largely praised the Indian pattern for his tactical play; It has been said that it needs the help of the elderly like Ravindra Jadja and Kl Rahul, but, in spite of everything, he is considered the pattern of the next generation of India due to his composite attitude.
Shubman Gill scored a pile of runs, as it was based on 430 runs in the game, after marking a double century in the first entry and following -with a 161 in the second game.
“The most important thing is to do races. This is his number 1 job and he has a load of loads,” said the former veteran of England.
