Punjab Kings captain (PBKs), Shreyas Iyer, has sent a subtle warning to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final.
Shreyas Iyer said that after losing the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in classification 1 they launched the “imagination and also the hiccups in the trash”, as a game cannot define them as a team.

Punjab Kings entered the Indian 2025 Premier League qualifying 2 as subdogs despite finishing number 1 at the point table because they were against the five times champions, the Mumbai Indians.
Historically, Mumbai Indians are known for having released their game in the essential games, and often fall to the right side of the result.
However, this story did not go out to rating 2 as Shreyas Iyer & Co. He had other plans. Opting for Bowl first, they allowed me to register 203/6, but pursued the goal with 6 remaining balls to get a 5 wicket victory, thanks to the stunning 87-Run Knock of Shreyas Iyer.
With the victory over the Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings reserved a date in the Final IPL 2025 with Royal Challengers Bengaluru and this will be the second time that the Punjab franchise will perform the IPL final.
During the presentation ceremony after the game after winning the game player’s prize, Shreyas Iyer said he loved great chances. Said:
“(Being calm while you go down) I don’t know how to be sincere, I love the big occasions. I always tell myself and also my teammates that the older the occasion, the calmer it is, I get the great results. Today it was a correct example where I focused more on my breathing instead of sweating aloud.”
While talking about chasing a goal more than 200 years, Shreyas Iyer said that players had to be assertive from the outset and they did exactly. Said:
“As I mentioned just before the game, all players must be assertive and demonstrate this intention of dance one. They could not take advantage of the beginning, but the intention was great and even for me, I had to take a while. From the other end, the Batsmen called -I know that the longer I spend the field, the better my vision also improves.”
Shreyas Iyer said that the kings of Punjab quickly went from the defeat to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at rating 1 and issued a warning before the final. Draw up:
“(After the loss against the RCB) only throwing the imagination and also the hiccups into the trash and not thinking too much about where we were mistaken because throughout the season we have played amazing. The intent and positivity was essential from the first game. A game cannot define us as a team.”
“(In the final) I stay at the moment at the moment, I want to appreciate this moment, go out into the locker room and celebrate with my team that we have reached the final. But personally I feel that the job is half, so not thinking about the final.
Shreyas Iyer asked if he was thinking of being acquired by Punjab Kings at the auction, he said he was not thinking in this line and only wanted a good team environment. Shreyas Iyer said:
“I didn’t think about where I go (during auctions), I just wanted to be in a good environment. My mental space is more important than where I go, I am very comfortable with the direction and everyone around me have made me feel very comfortable. The environment is always positive.”
