Shivam Dube welcomes second child with Anjum Khan


Indian cricketer Shivam Dube and his wife Anjum Khan have welcomed their second child, a baby girl! The couple shared the happy news with followers on social media. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on July 16, 2021 in Mumbai. On January 4, Dube took to Instagram with a sweet post to announce the arrival of her little one.

“Complete family,” says Shivam Dube

The 31-year-old cricketer expressed his joy with an emotional caption. He wrote: “03.01.2025. It’s a girl. Our hearts got bigger as we became a family of 4. Welcome Mehwish Shivam Dube. #completefamily.” The post quickly garnered love and well wishes from fans and fellow cricketers alike.

The couple’s first child, Ayaan Dube, was born on February 13, 2022. With the arrival of their baby girl, the family has become four, making their happiness complete.

A busy cricket season for Dube

Even with the excitement of welcoming her baby girl, Shivam Dubey has not taken a break from cricket. The all-rounder is currently representing Mumbai in the ongoing 2024-25 Vijay Hazare Trophy. So far, he has made solid contributions – scoring 80 runs and picking up a wicket in three matches.

The left-handed batsman has featured in 33 T20Is, amassing 448 runs at an average of 29.86, with three half-centuries to his name. He has also contributed with the ball, taking 11 wickets.

Dube’s recent stint at the T20 World Cup 2024 was a testament to his resilience and adaptability. He played every match in the tournament, scoring 133 runs in eight innings. In the final against South Africa, his quickfire 27 off 16 balls helped India post a competitive total of 176. The men in blue, led by Rohit Sharma, eventually won by seven runs, lifting their second T20 World Cup trophy and ending an 11-year ICC title drought.
