MUI’s departure from the corporate world came after the long -standing frame about starting something own.

Before starting his company, Mui worked on several services and corporate work. She worked in the fields, all kinds, as well as senior care and venture capital, but over those years, she said, she felt many moments of sadness.

“For four years in my adulthood I actually lived with my parents,” Mui said. “I was very broken because I had a lot of student loans at the time and … when I signed all the documents for student loans, I didn’t know what I signed up,” she said.

Mui said that, feeling so, she made her realize that she would have to build something her own, but only if a large catalyst did not happen, she made the leap.

It was in 2022 that Mui’s father died suddenly, just a couple of months after his grandmother’s death. It made her realize that life is short and that it should be happy.

Soon, Mui said, she found clarity and decided to leave her corporate role. “I stopped fighting it, and … I remember it wasn’t bad at all. I felt really liberated,” she said. She wanted to take some time to rest and turn.

Just three weeks of unemployment, Mui called her mom, which eventually caused the idea of ​​a dumplings. Then, about seven months later in November 2023, she started a business.

“Sometimes I feel it (not always) my decision. It is because I feel there is no other option, so I need to do my own thing,” she said.

“When I appreciated my time and energy … My business changed,” she said. “I learned (this) in every deal in business and everything you do should be a healthy exchange … If I feel like I give more and I don’t get what I want from it, you will never be happy. “I just feel what I always wanted to do my inner child,” she said. “I feel so happy. So easier … and all I want is to keep it, and I really hope I can continue.”
