A University of Massachusetts Amherst On Friday, five foreign students studying at the school were canceled by the US Immigration and Customs Bodies (ICE).
“The university has learned that throughout this week, five foreign students were withdrawn by visas, and students who stopped in the federal government,” said UMASS Chancellor Javier Reys in a letter posted on the university’s website.
“I regret that I sent this news so late on Friday; given that we learned about some of these recalls this evening, I found it important to share this alarming news at this time.”
