Sergio Mora says David Benavidez should derail undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev if he beats “regular” WBA champion David Morrell in their fight on February 1 next month.

Mora believes Beterbiev (21-0, 20 KOs) has too much power for ‘The Mexican Monster’ Benavidez, who didn’t look like the fighter he was in the past at 168 when he moved up to 175 last year. against Oleksandr Gvozdyk on June 15.
Mora wants Benavidez to maneuver carefully to avoid Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, both 175 monsters, and focus on fighting guys coming in at 168, like Canelo Alvarez.
