Sergio Mora urges Jaron ‘Boots’ to fight Israil Madrimov in the 154 -pound debut: a daring move for a statement victory?

Sergio Mora says that Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis should fight the former Middleweight champion of WBA, Israil Madrimov, in his debut on August 154 or September. He thinks Ennis (34-0, 30 kos) can make a statement to the division if he defeats Madrimov (10-2-1, 7 kos).

The boots have been moving in weight since 147 because it has been too difficult to weight in the division. Mora wants Ennis to fight someone well, like Madrimov so that they can receive credit.

Why Madrimov for Ennis?

“I think you can send a great message to the entire mid-junior weight division if you go after Israel Madrimov, a boy who almost beat Vergil Ortiz Jr. It was 115-113 in two markers of judges,” Sergio Mora told Chris Mannix YouTube ChanneL on who should fight Jaron ‘boots’ Ennis when he debuts on August 154 or September.

Hearn’s debut plans

Fans, fighters and media will be impressed if Ennis surpassed Madrimov. However, to send a message really, the boots will have to overcome the tastes of Bakhram Murtazaliev, Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Sebastian Fundora. There is little chance that Ennis promoter Eddie Hearn will dare to coincide with one of these fighters in his first struggle in the 154 -pound division. Madrimov struggled enough to deserve a decision against Crawford, although they were unlikely to have given him. The plans were already underway at the time for Crawford to fight Canelo when Israil fought him last August. Therefore, there was no chance for Madrimov to win a decision and ruin these plans. The important thing is that he struggled well enough to beat Crawford. If you can do it against him, he can beat Ennis, he is not as talented as Terence.

The skills and power of Madrimov

“It will be a difficult thing to do, but Madrimov has a much better feet than most of the youngest media. “They were close losses, but he still has them on his back on his record,” Mora said on Israil Madrimov. “I think Madrimov makes a lot of sense for many reasons.”

Madrimov is better than most of the 154 fighters, but this is what makes him a bad choice for Ennis to fight his debut in 154. This will not be the Emantas Stanionis that Jaron will fight. The risk of fighting Madrimov
