Seren Rodeo Dylan Grant dead at 24 after being thrown off bull

A professional bull rider Grant Dylan died After injuries at a Rodeo incident in Wharton, Texas. It was 24.

A grant died on Thursday, April 3, hours after performing at the Bulls of the Wharton Sir Youth Fair, according to the Cowbois Rodeo Cowboys Professional Association (PRCA).

“The PRCA would like to send his thoughts and prayers to the family of bull cyclist Dylan Grant, friends and the entire rodeo/bull riding community after a grant died after The suffering of injuries Thursday night, ”wrote the PRCA in Friday, April 4, statement. “He suffered an injury grant in the second round at the Wharton Sir event after being taken away by a bull in the arena.”

According to the PRCA, a grant was immediately transported to the Medical Center of the Hermann-Texas Houston memorial after being thrown off the animal.

He received a grant of his PRCA license in May 2018, nearly six years before buying his PRCA card. He competed in a number of Prorodeo and Xtreme Bulls events throughout his career. Previously, a grant was a member of the Wyoming University Rodeo team before graduating in 2023. With the squad, he even won a grant Rodeo Roam the Mountain Circuit Finals in 2021.

The Instagram Post continued, “Dylan was a proud graduate 2023, gaining his degree in PE teacher education. Dylan was a life champion inside and outside the arena. Once cowboy, always cowboy.”

Other members of the Rodeo community have also shared their condolences.

“With heavy hearts we share the tragic news about passing Dylan Grant, a talented bull cyclist from Pavillion, Wyoming who lost his life competing on Thursday night at the Prca Xtreme Bulls event of the Wharton Sir Youth Fair in Texas,” Sean GleasoN, CEO of the PBR, writing in a statement. “Dylan was blessed as an athlete – a state champion from Jackson Hole High School and former proud student of the Wyoming University – but more than that, he was known for his kindness, compassion and great heart. His spirit touched all who knew him.”

Gleason concluded, “Our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing Dylan.”
