What happened in season 2 ‘The Last of Us’, Chapter 1?

The show arose right after the end of the first season to reveal that the surviving fire flies knew that Joel was responsible for killing their members to save Ellie. Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), one of the survivors, makes a personal pledge to kill Joel slowly.
Five years later, Joel and Ellie live in Jackson, Wyoming, but their relationship is stressed, and is over -defense of his proxy daughter. Ellie came across a new type of infected that was smart enough to use stealthy to overtake. He survived only because of his immunity to the infection.
Ellie formed a romantic connection with another young woman named Dina (Isabela Merced), who annoyed a homophobic man in the city. Ellie was more angry about Joel’s intervention than anything else. However, neither Joel nor Ellie realize that they have bigger problems on the horizon. The infected tenders are closing in on Jackson, as are Abby and his group.
