The police alliance led by Kurd, which controls northeastern Syria, has agreed with the inclusion of all military and civic institutions in the Syrian state, the country’s presidency reports.
The agreement states that the Syrian democratic forces supported by the United States (SDF), stop hostilities and transfer control of the region’s border positions, airports, and oil and gas fields.
He also recognizes the Kurdish minority “an integral part of the Syrian state” and guarantees “the rights of all Syrians to submit and participate in the political process.”
SDF commander Mazlum Abdz called the transaction he signed together with the temporary President Ahmed Al-Sharao, “to build a new Syria.”
“We strive to create a better future, which guarantees the rights of all Syrians and fulfills its aspirations for peace and dignity,” he wrote on X on Monday night.
The transaction is a major step towards the goal of Sharaa to unite the destroyed country after its Sunni Islamist group led the rebel offensive that overthrew President Bashar al -Assad in December.
The amount of this challenge was understood by the recent violence in Western Syria when the Assad’s security attacks caused repressions, which reportedly killed more than 1000 civilians, most of whom are the Alatov Assad sect.
The transaction may also reject the SDF conflict with neighboring Turkey and Turkish Syrian former X -rays related to the government trying to put together the union from the border.
The SDF, which has tens of thousands of well-armed and well-prepared fighters, was not agreed with either the Assad regime or the opposition during the 13-year civil war.
Currently, it controls more than 46,000 square km (18,000 square meters) in the northeast, where in 2019 the Islamic State (IS) group defeated the USA.
The SDF plays an important role in the autonomous introduction of Northern and Eastern Syria (AANES), which rules the region, which is also known by the Kurds as Rodzava.
About 10,000 fighters are delayed in the SDF prisons that spread across the region, and about 46,000 other IS -related women and children are held in several camps.
Since the fall of the Assad SDF, he has warned that attacks from Turkish groups have caused him to divert the fighters from protecting prisons and pave the way for revival.
The Turkish government is considering the largest police in the SDF, units for the defense of the Kurdish people (YPG) as a terrorist organization. It states that YPG is an expansion of the banned group of Kurdistan Party (PKK), which has been an uprising in Turkey for decades, but recently planted a leader who was in prison.
There was no immediate comment from Turkey in response to the Monday agreement.
25 to 35 million Kurds are inhabited by the mountainous region that breaks the borders of Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Iran and Armenia. They make up the fourth largest ethnic group in the Middle East, but never received a permanent nation -state.
Syria’s Kurds, which make up about 10% of the population, were suppressed and denied the basic rights while driving Assad.
