Scott Wolf reveals his favorite party of five episodes


Out of the 142 episodes he shot A party of five,, Scott wolf says one chapter in particular stands out to him.

1. Wagon Volkswagen Dasher 1978 was my first car. My friends called him The Family Truckster of the Holiday Movies. I had just had my license and I was so keen to drive anything until I bought that piece of crap car and it was almost the end of me. I learned how to be a semi-auto mechanic because it needs to be repaired all the time. It was a disaster, (but) I like to think he had built a character.

2. My favorite book I’ve ever read is A hundred years of solitude. He really felt like you had traveled through time with those characters.

3. Math was my best subject at school. I have a decent mind for maths. I never loved it, but it became easier for me than most other subjects.

4. My favorite meal of comfort food is my wife’s chicken noodle soup. It’s home, delicious and arriving when you need it most.

6. Dock is the most challenging project for me to be part of. Dr. Richard Miller is an extremely complex character.

8. My wedding ring is my most precious possession – though I can’t find it. My wife knows I’m taking him on and off to work. Anytime I’ve played a married character, I’ve worn it, and then invariably I’ll wear it on the set and someone like, “Get Scott’s Ring,” and it’s in someone’s pocket. So I can’t find it, but it’s 100 percent invaluable.

9. I play drums and guitar.

10. I’m really good at those puzzle books where you have to find the hidden objects.

11. My most impressive moment was when Paul Newman Having come to see a play I was at the Williamstown Theater Festival. Thank God no one had told me that he was there when we did the show, but in the dressing room then, someone taped me on the shoulder and said, “Paul Newman would like to say hello,” and I don’t remember ” the next seconds. He and his wife, Joanne Woodwardwere there and they were the most beautiful, gracious human beings and said how much they enjoyed the play and my performance, and we couldn’t put real words together. He was that kind of human genius that he didn’t want you to feel uncomfortable or hit the star, although everyone who said Hello to him was probably.

12. I make a mean French toast.

14. I love every place I’ve gone to in Mexico. I love the food, the people and the beaches.

18. One of the most meaningful moments in my career was to win the Golden Globe (for the best TV series — drama) with the A party of five cast. I was so proud to be part of that particular group of people and having that honor was really meaningful.
