What do ancient prophecies, alien invasions, and whole boat load of martial arts action sequences common? Well, if you combine them, you get Jiu jitsu– Such a strange and unconnected film that it only won $ 99,924 at the box office against its reported production budget of $ 25 million. Although I do not suffer from amnesia as Jiu Jitsu’s The main character, I still feel like I’ve stare at the sun for too long, and every time I blink I see those small floating orbes of color that pass through my vision field but seems to answer no purpose other than my confusion for their reason for existence.

Relentlessly at the expense of his own stories, and packed with so much CGI, Jiu jitsu barely makes no sense. But for some reason, it’s a lot of fun looking at it, and definitely falling into my mental rolodex like a “flashy litter” flic that I will probably revisit at some point in the future when I need a thoughtless escape but I don’t want to pay attention to what is at stake.

The invaders have arrived

Jiu jitsu

Jiu jitsu Starts with a bang, and we are presented to Jake Barnes (Alain Moussi), a US soldier who finds himself running for his life of some supernatural monster yet to be expelled. After falling off a cliff, Jake is saved by a couple of anglers, who returns to what they assume is the military center to which he belongs. Revealing that he has amnesia when being questioned by the intelligence officer -Myra (Marie Avgeropoulos), Jake is unable to offer any co -text for the unique situation he finds himself in, which, according to the fishermen, contains a comet that passes the earth once every six years, leading to a normal epic battle between the ancient battle between the battle alien Its end goal is to take over the planet.

Along the way, Jake becomes familiar with Keung (Tony Jaa) and Harrington (Frank Grillo), The two ambassadors of the Jiu Jitsu who recognizes Jake as their own despite the fact that Jake has no reminiscence of the events leading to his current situation. After being abducted by the US Army once again, Jake has run in with the leader of the alien Invasion, Brax (Ryan Tarran), who fights effortlessly off the troops, compromising on his mission position he has no clue how to achieve because he … still has amnesia.

Nicolas Cage is an eccentric voice of reason

Jiu jitsu

After meeting a veteran Jiu Jitsu who dwells a caves called Wylie (Nicolas cage), Jake is told everything he needs to know, which in turn tells the audience everything they need to know because God knows that we need an accident course at all at this point in the film. Wylie, who is a contrary between sage-like seeker and Bandana wearing a veteran from Vietnam (think the Lieutenant Dan from Forrest Gump But not almost so depressing), Jake explains the role of fighting the alien invasion of the rest of Jiu Jitsu troops, and then there is a bunch of CGI action and gates and gates that really bring it all home after Jake learned what he really needs to do.

Jiu Jitsu steamed on tubi

Jiu jitsu

Jiu jitsu An interesting watch because his fighting sequences are at times impressive – especially coming from Jake, who is not aware of his own martial arts talents but finds himself kicking a donkey whenever the opportunity presents himself. However, when we get a glimpse of the real invaders, everything about this movie falls apart – action sequences are included – because of how stupid they really look.

I personally do not know how much was spent on the CGI for this film, but I have reason to believe that the production could have saved a ton of money if Brax and Company were regular human beings with a bright halo around them to mark their alien origin instead of what we get, which is a strange future cosmonies with silly helmets in the threat.

Never fun to look at, even if you laugh at his expense, Jiu jitsu In a complete mess, but his wonderfulness somehow makes him work to some extent depending on your mood.

If you are looking to be blown away by charming sci-fi A martial arts film where the fate of humanity depends on a few ancient earthly troops that know all the secrets of the universe, you will be very disappointed. But if you want to watch a bunch of characters go from A to B, while somehow loops around the rest of the whole alph Jiu jitsu is the perfect flic to watch on a tubi as you work on some other, more fulfilling project, and sometimes look for some of Jiu Jitsu’s ancient alien action.
