School spirits’ The Finishing of Season 2 left Milo Manheim’s Character up in the air – and the actor weighs up what the show will look forward to.
“I think the first season is similar, what happened (to these spirits)?” Manheim, 24, explained only to Weekly US In promoting his upcoming film Zombies 4. “The second season was like, ‘Okay, we know what happened, now let’s solve this thing,’ and I think we’ll zoom out even more. We’re going to be like, ‘What the hell is happening?’”
School spirits for the first time on Paramount+ in 2021 and follows Maddie High School student (Peyton’s list) As she investigates her own mysterious disappearance and alleged death from the back. While on a mission for answers, she finds a group of teenage ghosts harassing the hallways. That includes Manheim’s Wally, a ’80s spirit jock in the slash of Golden Retriever type that falls quickly over heels for Maddie.
While the end of season 1 revealed that Maddie’s human body had been taken over by another spirit, he ended season 2 back in the human kingdom. In the meantime, Wally seemed to find the door to peace, though it was not revealed if he walked through.
Speaking to us, Manheim teased that season 3 will try to “crack the code of what is happening in this world (from River River)” in answering questions from the previous season.
Meanwhile, the show’s executive producers shared that Manheim’s future like Wally was deliberately ambiguous – leaving fans searching over the potential loss of a favorite fan character.
“We live (for) cliffers and to destroy people too!” cocrea Nate trinrrud banter to Us Earlier only this year. He also suggested what Wally’s next chapter could mean for the series: “There are many questions that come together. Like, what does it really mean to lose someone? But also, do you ever lose anyone?”

Manheim is certainly no stranger to playing the undead, as all three of his three latest characters have met their untimely end in one way or another. “I don’t know what it is, maybe just because I’m so full of life I need to be killed,” joking Manheim Us. “This was never my plan, first of all, but maybe I’ve really tapped into a niche here that Hollywood is short of it. But yes, School spirits and Zomb I’m a dead person who plays football with a love whose name sounds like addison. Madison is her name on (School spirits). “

The first Zomb A film was performed for the first time in 2018 and has since spawned one of the most successful film franchises for Disney to date (move over, High school musical!). Manheim and Donnelly have reshaped their role for each installment, including borrowing their voices for the re-animated series. Seven years in, Manheim has learned a lot about playing a leading man.
“I’m just as excited now than when I was on Zombies 1But the excitement then was just like unreal, I can’t believe I’m here, what’s my life? And I think I’ve changed because I’ve really based myself and realized just the impact we’ve had with these films and this franchise, ”he said Us. “I’ve probably taken the lead. Trying to put in -creative input there and lead this franchise (in) the direction I think is important. So I think step up to the plate is how I’ve changed the most.”
