Holy savanna She has exciting plans for her future now that she has finished advocating for her parents Melt and Julie to be released from prison.
Have Todd and Julie were forgiven by President Donald Trump Earlier this week and release, Savannah, 27, said People On Friday, May 30 she has a new personal goal in mind.
“Personally, my goal was to travel to 30 countries by the time I turned 30,” he told the outlet. “I’ll be 28 in August. So right now I’m like, right, it’s the perfect time. Mum and dad are home. I can travel to my 30 countries.”
Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, were behind bars after being executed on fraud payments in 2019. While all maintained their innocence, the Chrisley knows best couple were found guilty in 2022. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while his wife about to serve seven years. Their sentences were reduced by nearly two years in 2024.
Savannah worked tirelessly behind the scenes in an effort to secure a presidential pardon – an effort he paid off when Trump put one on Tuesday, May 27.
Address the media On Friday, May 30, at a press conference alongside her father, Savannah touched what she thought were some of the legends about how she managed to help get pardons for her parents.
“The biggest misconception at the moment is that I either pay for a pardon or sleep for a pardon,” he said.
“If people knew the countless hours and the money and the time I spent going to DC, literally without a scheduled meeting,” Savannah continued. “Did I go on a plane and go and say I wanted to be in the right room at the right time and meet the right people. I fought hard and I was exhausted and I had begged for meetings.”

“People think, ‘Oh, you’re famous, you have money,’ we’ve had a top hand and we didn’t,” she insisted. “I had to fight and I was unhindered and that’s how it happened. Finally, people were listening. So for me, that would be something that people didn’t really understand.”
Savannah previously responded to the news of the Pardon of Todd and Julie by a statement to Weekly US Made on Tuesday, May 27.
“For the last two and a half years, I’ve done everything I can to fight for my parents’ freedom and bring them home,” Savannah said in the statement. “This moment is the answer to countless prayers, and I am beyond grateful to President Trump for seeing the truth and restoring my family.”
He continued: “I also want to thank Alice Marie Johnson for her unwavering support and our attorney, Alex Littlefor being an essential part of this process. Today is a victory for our family, but the fight against wrong convictions and injustice in our prison system is far from over. “
