As he was talking to his YouTube channel, Harbhajan Singh gave birth to Ris Hurbh Pant’s low scores with the bat this season. The former Indian spinner called him a great shock for LSG and asked the team to do something about his captain.
“Ris Habh Pant was not able to do much. His bat has been calm. They will have to do something for him to come out early. It has been a great clash for the team,” said Harbhajan.
Ris Habh Pant has dubbed number 4 in all three games so far, but it still has to have a significant impact. Wicketkeeper-Baterter is one of the most dangerous baptisms currently in the IPL, but it has not arrived so far.
In the three games played so far, Ris Habh Pant scored only 17 runs to an average of only 5.66 with the best of 15. He got a duck in the first game against Delhi Capitals and then scored 15 in the second game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Pant reached the fold and his team was fighting 32-2 inside the PowerPlay during the third game of LSG against Punjab Kings. His team needed the captain to dismiss in a difficult situation.
However, he went out for only two races impacting when he tried to hit the half crawling of Glenn Maxwell out of the ground. Pant chose Yuzvendra Chahal to Fine Leg, who took the capture. He, along with LSG supporters on Earth, was completely stopped by dismissal.
In the same video, Harbhajan Singh performed post-Party analysis and stated that the LSG Batters were hooked and could not mark much. He believes that Punjab’s shake was too strong for LSG and they needed to do more races on the board.
“LSG was stuck. After losing the launch, they did not mark much and disappointed. Nicholas Polan played bright, but was trapped by Yuzvendra Chahal. So (Nicholas) Polan came out, LSG’s back was virtually broken,” said Harbhajan.
“Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad provided some fireworks towards the end, it was a total of them, which was worth fighting, but very hard to defend, given the fort that is the battle of Punjab,” added the former CSK spinner.
Harbhajan also greeted Ricky Ponting in the way he started with Punjab Kings as main coach. He believes that Ponting’s motivation worked well for the young people of the Punjab and that they obtain the results.
“To bet on LuckNow in Lucknow shows that they have played a shining cricket. Punjab finally resembles a team, a unit that struggles. This team shows traits of traveling all the way. Ricky Ponting has motivated young people only they can.”
Punjab Kings could have played only two games so far, but they have shown enough promises. The Obrador Priyansh Arya shone with a hand in the first game that was also his debut at the IPL. Arya scored 47 with only 23 balls with 7 four and 2 six.
Prabhsimran Singh hit a brutal 69 of 34 balls to leave as a game player in the second game. Nehal Wadhera also scored a fine of 43 of 25 balls in its PBKs debut.
