“There’s no weakness that this man has. It’s almost like he’s this genius that Indian cricket has brought as a gift and you ask for a wish and you get it. And it’s always Bumrah who delivers, whether it’s the cricket World Cup T20 or 50 more World Cup, or is a match like this, a crucial match on a page where many bowlers struggle to get anything out of it.
“He cleaned up Alex Carey, like he was a No. 10, 11 batsman. He only had two balls left in that spell. You knew he wasn’t going to bowl more than two balls, and he nailed Alex Carey as well. And when you look at the average, I mean, that’s amazing,” the 59-year-old added.
